Hillcrest Firethorn specializes in short-term rehabilitation for those recovering from illness, injury or surgery. Our center accommodates up to 72 guests across two inviting neighborhoods, each featuring 36 private rooms with upscale finishes and private bathrooms.

With more than 30 years of rehabilitation expertise, Hillcrest Firethorn delivers results-driven care using the latest therapy methods. Unlike many facilities, we staff our own in-house team of licensed therapists, ensuring consistent and high-quality physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our state-of-the-art equipment and personalized therapy plans help guests regain strength and mobility quickly—most return home within 14 to 24 days.
Our therapists collaborate with each guest’s medical team to create a tailored care plan that meets their health goals and optimizes recovery outcomes. We also offer transition support to Hillcrest Home Care, making the move from facility to home smooth and supported.
Long-Term Care with Comfort, Compassion and Support
Beyond short-term rehabilitation, Hillcrest Firethorn offers 24-hour long-term care in a welcoming and enriching environment. Residents enjoy private rooms, made-to-order dining and a full calendar of engaging activities. We’re also proud to partner with Hillcrest Hospice, which provides supportive end-of-life care and symptom management for residents who need additional comfort and peace of mind.

To continue offering our guests and residents the best possible experience, Hillcrest Firethorn is scheduled for interior updates in Fall 2025. These renovations will include new carpeting, flooring and furniture throughout the facility, enhancing comfort and style for all who stay with us.
Simplified Insurance & Financial Options
We accept Medicare, many Medicare Advantage plans, private insurance, worker’s compensation and long-term care insurance. For qualifying Medicare guests, the first 20 days are typically covered in full. Limited Medicaid availability is also offered. Our team is happy to guide families through coverage options and next steps.
